Cape Fear Sierra Club invites you to share an informative evening as Mr. Shew and Mr. Willis detail the issues and alternatives to the proposed deepening and widening of the Cape Fear River for port expansion. Both gentlemen are highly respected for their unique, separate, scientific expertise and understanding of the impact the proposed project will have on the lower Cape Fear region.

The impact of this project is outlined on our website, including Brayton Willis' letters to the US Army Corps of Engineers prior to their release of the Draft Environmental Study (DEIS).  However, this event is a rare opportunity to hear and participate in an unvarnished "facts and figures" presentation that is bound to educate all attendees.
