Video: Ted Fuller on the National Popular Vote

10 March 2026: Ted Fuller from the League of Women Voters presented on the National Popular Vote - a viable method for overcoming the pitfalls of the electoral college by creating a compact among states who will award their electoral collage votes to the winner of the most votes, once there are enough states to reach 270, a simple majority. This is done as a state law; enough states to make up 77% of the electoral collage votes are in the compact currently. North Carolina has not adopted this but there is broad public support in polls.
