Come join the Cape Fear Sierra Club at the Blue Clay Bike Park in Castle Hayne for a roughly 5-mile hike on the intermediate bike trail. This is a fun hike with lots of ups and downs as the trail meanders through the Park. The hike will be led by Jim and Carol and Sierra Club Member, Lauren Hollett-Mott will assist. We intend to keep a brisk pace. We purposely chose a weekday to avoid the bike traffic on weekends and we will hike in the opposite direction as the bikes, so we will see any that are approaching us. Bring water, a hat for the sun and good hiking shoes. We will meet in the parking area by the trail sign and we will have our Sierra Club banner there.
