The Park will hold another glass clean-up at the Lily Pond area. It is a really fun event. This area is an old dumping ground used before Carolina Beach became a State Park. Join other non-profit groups like the Plastic Ocean Project and Friends of Pleasure Island to help with the clean-up. We would love to have good representation from the Sierra Club.

No need to sign up, just show up at 10 am at the Carolina State Park Visitor Center and from there, the group will walk over to the Lily Pond with Park Ranger Jesse Anderson. Be sure to bring gloves and a small trowel to dig for glass.
