Dr. Fuller will outline flaws in the implementation of the Electoral College:
The candidate who loses the election can become president
Millions of votes in presidential elections are ignored
General election presidential campaigns are restricted to a few battleground states
Voters not in battleground states are more likely to skip the election.
Dr. Fuller received a PhD at the University of Michigan in the 1970s and was then on the faculty at Virginia Tech for nearly 40 years. He is now retired and lives in Wilmington. He is a member of the League of Women Voters and the Kiwanis Club.
