The Cape Fear Sierra Club was invited to be part of Wrightsboro Elementary School's Earth Day Celebration program the week of April 22nd, 2025.  Several members read the book The Ocean in Your Bathtub by Seth Fishman to over 50 enthusiastic and engaged second and third graders on Friday, April 25th.  The importance of the oceans to all living things and what we can do to care for our oceans was shared and discussed with the children.  It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with and educate many of the students about our planet.
